Dr. Miceli is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Michigan and an Infectious Diseases physician specializing in Medical Mycology and Transplant Infectious Diseases.

Her clinical and research interests focus on improving the diagnosis and treatment of invasive fungal infections, particularly in immunocompromised and transplant patients. She has served as Principal Investigator for clinical trials of novel antifungal agents and studies evaluating earlier fungal diagnostic approaches. She has also contributed to numerous scholarly products, including peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, online educational resources, and multicenter clinical research studies.

Dr. Miceli is a long-time member of the Mycoses Study Group Education & Research Consortium and currently serves as Treasurer on its Board of Directors. She participates in MSGERC committees and working groups and is a Council Member of the International Immunocompromised Host Society.
